Two U.S. Open victories, in 2001 at Southern Hills and 2004 at Shinnecock Hills, and two successive seasons in which he was crowned European Tour Number One, in 2001 and 2002, have secured his position among the golfing elite.

In addition to his Major wins, Goosen has captured a further 12 European Tour titles in a glittering career, the most recent of which came at the 2007 Commercialbank Qatar Masters. Has also won a further five times on the PGA TOUR, nine times on his home Sunshine Tour and five times on the Asian Tour.

Won his first Senior Major Championship at the Bridgestone Senior Players Championship in 2019, his first over-50s victory.
