    South African-born Zimbabwean was the fifth former Major winner to celebrate his 50th birthday during 2007 after Mark O’Meara, Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo and Bernhard Langer. Finished third in his only appearance in that season’s European Senior Tour, at the US Senior PGA Championship. Won seven times on The European Tour between 1980 and 1997, including two US PGA Championships (1992 and 1994) and one Open Championship at Turnberry in 1994. Won a further 15 titles on the US PGA Tour and topped the Money List in 1993 and 1994, when he was named Player of the Year on both occasions. Was the first recipient, in 2002, of the ASAP Sports / Jim Murray Award, given to a professional player for his co-operation, quotability and accommodation to the media, and for reflecting the most positive aspects of the working relationship between athlete and journalist. Over the last decade, has collaborated on ten golf courses with Steve Smyers and Tom Fazio. Recently formed his own design company, Nick Price Golf Course Design.
