    Kim, an honorary member of the Professional Golfing Association was a leading amateur in the 1960’s, served his apprenticeship from 1968 – 1972 with Bill Cox OBE at Fulwell Golf Club. He initially represented St. Pierre GC, Chepstow between 1969 and 1979, five years of which were spent with Brian Huggett. From 1990 until 2000 he was the Golf Professional at Dewstow Golf Club. Between 1970 and 1980 he served his country well, representing Wales on no less than eleven occasions including twice in the World Cup and once in the Nine Nations Cup at Troon. His most notable successes were during the 1980’s and early 90’s, whilst playing, for over twelve years, in the Western Region Pro-Am series. He played on the European Tour between 1971 and 1979 at one stage being ranked 23.
