Only took up the game aged 17, but made rapid progress through the amateur ranks before turning professional six years later.

Won twice on the Challenge Tour and also has two European Tour titles to his name in the 2012 Open de Andanlucia and 2013 Open d’Italia. Is close friends with fellow Frenchman Thomas Levet, as they play at the same golf club and share the same sponsor. A keen player of squash, tennis and volleyball in his spare time.
