ARG
Bahia Blanca, Argentina Place of Birth6′ 1″ (187cm) HeightSports Interests(2008), (09), (10) Qualifying SchoolCaptured his maiden Challenge Tour title at the 2011 Abierto Internacional Copa Antioquia in Colombia, where he closed with four birdies in regulation play before capping a five-star display with yet another gain on the first hole of the play-off to edge out runner-up Charles-Edouard Russo. His previous form on the Tour de las Americas (TLA) had been steady, rather than spectacular, with a tie for third place at the 2009 Abierto de Chile his best performance. But he proved he was the man for the big occasion by collecting the €26,274 winner’s cheque on only his tenth appearance on the Challenge Tour. Will now play a full season on the Challenge Tour in a bid to follow in the spikemarks of a host of current European Tour Members who have made the journey from TLA champions to Challenge Tour graduates.
