Was a professional footballer for 12 years, playing for Bordeaux and Le Havre in France.

Hung up his boots in 1983, and turned his attention to golf. Quickly got down to a two handicap, before turning professional in 1986.

Competed on the Challenge Tour from 1991 to 2000 and has played on the Alps Tour and the French domestic circuit, where he has won once.

When not on the course, he enjoys a game of chess.
