The former World Number One secured the first of three European Tour victories at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in 2014, edging out Victor Dubuisson of France in a sudden death play-off.

His maiden Major title came at the 2015 US PGA Championship, winning by three shots from Jordan Spieth at Whistling Straits. Had previously recorded six top four finishes in Major Tournaments since 2011.

Became a World Cup winner in 2013 when, alongside fellow Australian Adam Scott, he took both the team and individual honours in the ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf.
