Managed to find his best form when it mattered most at the 2014 Qualifying School Final Stage, where he took the 15th card to secure a return to The European Tour. Also successfully negotiated the School in 2012 – with a stunning finish of three consecutive birdies in a final round 67 – to earn a rookie season on the top tier, but was unable to retain his playing rights in 2013. Was dogged by wrist problems in 2014, but recovered in time for a fruitful trip to PGA Catalunya Resort. Introduced to the game by his grandfather and was mentored thereafter by his father. Represented Europe in the 2008 and 2010 Junior Ryder Cup and played in the victorious Great Britain and Ireland team in the 2009 Jacques Leglise Trophy.
