A fan favourite in the world of golf, and affectionately known as 'Beef', he made his European Tour breakthrough by winning the 2016 Open de España and finished tied eighth at The Open Championship in the same season on the way to finishing 26th in the Race to Dubai.

Graduated from the Challenge Tour in 2011, but struggled with form and fitness over the next two years. Bounced back in style by triumphing twice en route to winning the Challenge Tour Rankings in 2014.

Won the Boys Internationals as an amateur in 2007, before turning professional aged 20.
