Born with degenerative spine disease scoliosis, Wayne Perske enjoyed his career-best year in 2006 as he qualified for The Open Championship at Royal Liverpool.

But after years of physical struggle, he called time on his professional career in 2015, and four spinal fusion operations have left him with 12 screws in his lower back.

The Australian made his G4D debut at the 2024 G4D Open, finishing tied fourth at Woburn.
