Will be playing in his fifth season on the Senior Tour in 2011 having joined in 2007, some 13 years after his final outing on The European Tour. His best season was in 2009 when he finished 45th on the Order of Merit. Highlight of his career came in 1990, when he partnered Bernhard Langer to victory for Germany in the World Cup. Is also a Challenge Tour winner, following his success at the 1994 American Express Trophy in his home country. Left golf club management for teaching in order to free up more time to play again. Was a keen marathon runner.
