Meet Tomas Jesus

Made the last of his seven starts in 1999 in the Compass Group English Open and was unable to play thereafter. Did not manage to retain card in 2000 and a return to the School paid off with tenth card. Father, José, played at Torrequebrada and introduced his six year old son to the game. Didn't take it up seriously until 12 and decided at 15 he wanted to become a pro. Influenced by three coaches over the years - Juan Jiménez (brother of Miguel Angel), José Maria Canizares and Diego Morito, coach to the Andalucia golf team. Took four attempts to win European Tour card, eventually succeeding in 1998.
