Is a close friend of compatriot Thomas Pieters, studying in the same American college as the Ryder Cup star - University of Illinois - and the duo won the ISPS HANDA Melbourne World Cup of Golf for Belgium in 2018.

Made every Challenge Tour cut in 2016 and caught attention with a stunning wire-to-wire victory at the Bridgestone Challenge, setting a Challenge Tour record for the largest winning margin with a 12-shot victory. Then graduated to the European Tour after finishing inside the top 15 on the Challenge Tour that year.

Represented Europe in the 2010 Junior Ryder Cup, losing out to a USA team which included Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas.
