Plays with a condition called reactive arthritis, which manifests itself as inflammation (heat, pain and swelling) in the joints. Despite that condition, which clearly can affect a professional golfer, he won his card for the US PGA Tour in 2003, after finishing fourth on the 2002 Nationwide Tour. Joined The European Tour after finishing 20th at the 2006 Qualifying School – Final Stage, having won seven times around the world, with tournament victories in America, Australia, Canada, Fiji and Tahiti.
