    Represented Austria with his twin brother Sam at the European Boys’ Team Championship in 2011 as they finished second, losing in the final against a Spanish side which included Jon Rahm.

    Played college golf at the University of Georgie from 2011 to 2016. Turned professional after college and played on PGA TOUR Canada. Qualified for the then-Web.com Tour for 2017.

    Finished third at the Web.com Tour Championship in 2018, becoming the first Austrian golfer to earn a PGA TOUR card. Earlier that year, won his first professional title at the KC Golf Classic.

    Represented his nation at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, finishing in a share of tenth.

    Became the first Austrian winner on the PGA TOUR as he beat Shane Lowry by one stroke at the 2022 Honda Classic. 

    Represented Continental Europe at the 2023 Hero Cup, playing in Abu Dhabi the week after starting his PGA TOUR campaign in Hawaii.

    Won his second PGA TOUR title in July 2023 at the John Deere Classic and later that month finished in a share of second at The Open at Royal Liverpool.

    Earned a Captain’s Pick for the 2023 Ryder Cup as he helped Europe win back the trophy at Marco Simone.
