Earned his DP World Card for the 2023 Race to Dubai after finishing seventh at Qualifying School Final Stage.

Became the first Japanese winner on Continental Europe in 40 years as he claimed a famous maiden DP World Tour title in his rookie season at the Cazoo Open de France, carding a five under par final round 66 at Le Golf National to win by two strokes.

Made further history in 2023 as he became the first player from Japan to win the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year Award.
