The America-based Australian started his bid to win a place on Tour at St Annes Old Links in England, played the Second Stage at the PGA Golf de Catalunya and then the six-round Final Stage at San Roque Club, both in Spain. Subsequently found life rather tougher on The European Tour, with a tie for ninth place at the Valle Romano Open de Andalucia his only top ten finish of the 2007 season, which saw him finish 175th on the money list. Dropped down to the Challenge Tour and struggled to rediscover his form over the next two seasons, finishing 88th in the Rankings in 2008 and 27th in 2009. But bounced back in fine fashion in 2010 with five top ten finishes – including one as runner-up at the Kärnten Golf Open by Markus Brier Foundation – to set up a return to The European Tour as the 15th graduate.
