Made the USA his home after studying at Florida State University on a golf scholarship. During an impressive collegiate career, won four times individually and helped his team win Florida State’s first Conference title. Was named ‘First Team All American’, an award honouring the top ten college golfers of the year. Took up European Tour Membership in 2014 after several seasons playing solely on the US PGA Tour, and finished tied second at the Masters Tournament that year. Finished the season 30th in The Race to Dubai. Represented Europe in the 2008 Palmer Cup and won four points from four.
