After a nervous final afternoon of the season at the Dubai Festival City Challenge Tour Grand Final hosted by Al Badia Golf Club, finished tied 18th which was enough to secure 15th spot in the Rankings, the last spot for promotion to The European Tour. Guaranteed a maiden season at the top level thanks to a late season run that included consecutive third place finishes at the Foshan Open and the National Bank of Oman Golf Classic, off the back of a career-best runner-up result earlier in the year at the Aegean Airlines Challenge Tour by Hartl Resort. Started out working in the car industry as a consultant, before a runner-up finish at his county championship aged 21 encouraged him to take a year out to work on his game.
