Was introduced to golf as a caddie at the Akibo Golf Club while attending Abiko Junior High School. Is the only Japanese player to claim titles on six different tours: European Tour, PGA Tour, Senior PGA Tour, Australasian Tour, Japan PGA Tour, Japan Senior Tour.
