Bounced back from two seasons in obscurity with a successful Challenge Tour campaign to return to the European Tour in 2016.

Finished seventh in the Road to Oman Rankings thanks to six top five finishes, including the Swiss Challenge where he lost in a play-off to Daniel Im. Also came through the Challenge Tour in 2009 but after three seasons on the top tier he lost his playing rights at the end of 2012.

Won the Tusker Kenya Open, the first event of the season, in 2009, a second round 64 paving the way to his maiden professional title.

Comes from the same management stable as his friend and compatriot Ian Poulter, and spent a month in the winter of 2008 practising with the Ryder Cup player in America, which he claimed provided the foundations for his success in Kenya.

A keen Manchester United fan, which causes much banter between him and Arsenal-mad Poulter. Also shares his flamboyant friend’s penchant for wearing colourful clothing.
