Has a fine record on home soil, finishing third in the South African Airways Open at the end of 2007 and losing a play-off to Richard Sterne in the 2008 Joburg Open. Finished second on the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit in 2008 before winning the title in 2011. Studied at North Carolina State University before turning professional in 2003.
