Has twice come close to claiming a maiden European Tour title, first at the 2013 Nelson Mandela Championship when he was beaten in a three-man play-off by Scott Jamieson after the event was reduced to 36 holes due to adverse weather, and then at the 2015 KLM Open when Thomas Pieters finished one stroke clear of he and Lee Slattery.
