Born in Tranås, Sweden, he played golf at University of West Florida and University of Arkansas, becoming a two-time All-American.

Turned professional in 2010 and won once on the second-tier Web.com Tour en route to qualifying for the PGA Tour.

Represented Sweden when golf returned to the Olympics for the first time since 1904 in the 2016 Olympic Games. Finished tied 11th in the 60-man field.

Lists Inverness and Royal Portrush as his favourite courses. Superstitions include never using a No. 2 ball in competition.
