Colussi broke the elbow of his left arm in a motorbike accident, losing movement and the extension in the arm.

Since picking up the sport in 2012, the Italian has progressed and enjoyed a good year in 2023.

Strong results, including a win in a home region event, and third place finishes in the Italian Open for Golfers with a Disability, and the EDGA St Andrews Links Open, helped him qualify via the top-eight eligible ‘Net’ places in the World Ranking for the RSM European Play-offs at North Hants Golf Club in September 2023.
