Secured his second European Tour title less than 12 months after breaking his duck at the D+D REAL Czech Masters as he beat Matthew Fitzpatrick in a play-off to win the BMW International Open.

Has graduated from the Challenge Tour on two occasions, finishing second in the Rankings behind Tommy Fleetwood in 2011, before topping the season-long list two years later.

Won twice in each of his seasons on Europe's top developmental Tour.

Studied at the University of Texas A&M, where he won on the collegiate circuit and was a member of the NCAA Championship-winning team.

Lives in Rome, where he grew up, and is an ardent supporter of AS Roma.
