Had a successful amateur career, winning the Spanish Amateur in 2016 and 2018, and represented his country at the European Amateur Team Championship on three occasions, winning the event in 2017.

Represented Europe in the Bonnallack Trophy and St Andrews Trophy in 2018 and turned professional later that year.

Won twice on the Alps Tour in 2021 and also claimed his first Challenge Tour victory at the Big Green Egg German Challenge. Finished 22nd on that year’s Road to Mallorca Rankings, just missing out on automatic promotion to the DP World Tour.

Despite limited status, had the opportunity to play 21 DP World Tour events in 2022, his best result coming on home soil when he finished fourth at the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters to finish 91st on the Race to Dubai Rankings and keep his card for the following year.

Retained membership after the 2023 season and secured a breakthrough victory in 2024 as he defeated two-time Major Champion and former World Number One Jon Rahm in a play-off at the acciona Open de España presented by Madrid.
