Having only graduated from Duke University in his native Virginia at the start of the summer he made an immediate impact on the Challenge Tour in 2013 by winning on his third appearance, Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge in France. Despite playing only 12 events he finished 29th in the Rankings and continued his fine form at the Qualifying School Final Stage, taking the 15th card. Had a successful college career, winning the 2013 ACC Championship and the Byron Nelson Award, following in the footsteps of good friend Dylan Fritelli who won the same title the previous year. Has also won four Virginia State Golf Association Amateur Championships, including three in a row from 2008, and the 100th edition in 2013. Enjoys spending his spare time on the beach when not on Tour, as well as spending time with friends.
