After a glittering amateur career, which included back-to-back South African Amateur Stroke Play Championship victories in 2012 and 2013, the Johannesburg player turned professional in August 2013 and hit the ground running on the Sunshine Tour the following year with eight top five finishes in his rookie season.

Got into golf aged three after watching his dad play. He is a self-confessed petrol-head and cites Ernie Els as his sporting hero.
