Made his mark on the European Seniors Tour when he captured the 2000 Tui Golf Championship Fleesensee on his way to finishing 17th on that season's Order of Merit. He slipped back to 33rd in 2001 and then had to undergo shoulder surgery before returning to finish 51st on the list in 2002. Last year, the American continued to struggle, dropping a further six places on the Order of Merit, his best finish coming when he came tied seventh at the Travis Perkins Senior Masters. First appeared in Europe in 1975 when he played in six European Tour events before returning to America to begin a career as a businessman. Whilst out of the game of golf, he built his company into the world's third largest manufacturer of taps before selling up in time to prepare for the Seniors Tour. His wife, Cher, trained as a child psychologist but now travels the Tour with her husband.
