Lost out in three separate play-offs in 2019, first at the Volvo China Open and then twice in Rolex Series events. In July, Bernd Wiesberger beat him to the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open title, before Tyrrell Hatton overcame Hebert and four others under floodlights at the Turkish Airlines Open. Finished the best campaign if his career in 16th position on the Race to Dubai Rankings presented by Rolex.

In 2014 he ended a fine campaign in style by winning the Dubai Festival City Challenge Tour Grand Final hosted by Al Badia Golf Club, his third title of the campaign, which made him the first player to achieve that feat in two different seasons on the developmental tour. With six Challenge Tour titles, he is now the third most successful player in the second tier’s history.

He played for the French Amateur team for three years, and also represented his country in the Eisenhower Trophy, as well as winning the European Amateur Championship in 2007 to earn a place in the field for The 137th Open Championship the following year.
