A former English Number One. Became the first person to hold the English, Scottish and Welsh Amateur Open Stroke Play titles at the same time.

Boasted a formidable amateur record before turning professional at the end of 2006 after graduating from Tennessee State University.

Dinwiddie played in the 2005 Walker cup and won the 2005 Scottish and Welsh Amateur Open Stroke Play Championships, as well as the English edition in 2006.

Had a sabbatical in Thailand at the end of 2012, which renewed his hunger for the game and inspired him to rediscover the form that earned him three European Challenge Tour titles between 2007 and 2010.

Graduated from the Challenge Tour in 2013.
