Guaranteed his playing privileges for the 2005 season with some fine early season form in 2004, the highlights a second place behind Thongchai Jaidee in the Carlsberg Malaysian Open and sharing second behind Christopher Hanell in the Maderia Island Open.

Helped him to finish 96th on the Volvo Order of Merit. Attended Qualifying School in 2002 but did not get his card and therefore split his time between the Challenge Tour and The European Tour in 2003.

Finished 135th on the Order of Merit at the end of the 2003 season and that, plus his ranking in Asia, guaranteed him the early season starts in 2004 from which he took full advantage.

Turned professional in 1994 and won several tournaments in his native Australia before traveling to play primarily in Asia and Europe.

Lists fishing as one of his interests and has admitted that his long-term goal is to invest in a charter fishing boat on the Gold Coast.
