Made his Ryder Cup debut at Le Golf National, Paris, in September 2018, when he rounded off a spectacular European victory in style, holing a monster putt on the final green to defeat Bryson DeChambeau long after Francesco Molinari had sealed the winning point for Thomas Bjørn's team.

Won the inaugural Rolex Series event when he staged a dramatic final day comeback to triumph at the 2017 BMW PGA Championship, carding a course record-equalling ten under par 62 at Wentworth Club. Claimed his second Rolex Series title at the 2018 HNA Open de France, taking his European Tour trophy tally to ten.

Won four titles during a remarkable 2016 season, including the prestigious Nedbank Golf Challenge, on his way to a career-high finish of third in the Race to Dubai.

Graduated from the Challenge Tour in 2006 after finishing third in the Rankings just one year after turning professional.

Before that had spent eight years as an amateur competing for the Swedish national team, having previously developed his game on the American college circuit as he graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Business Marketing.
