Rediscovered some fine form in 2010 to graduate to The European Tour via an 11th place finish in the Challenge Tour Rankings, making up for the disappointment of the previous few seasons. Finished second at the lucrative Kazakhstan Open and had five other top tens, mirroring the consistency of earlier in his career. Won five times on the Tour de Las Americas, including the Abierto de Mesopotamia Copa Personal in March 2007, when he held off his compatriot and Major Champion Angel Cabrera. Carded a career-low 60 in the TLA Players Championship in Mexico in 2006.
