Was forced to wait ten years between his two European Tour victories, having won the 2007 Open de France ALSTOM and the 2017 BMW SA Open hosted by City of Ekurhuleni – the latter of which came just 84 days after believing he had lost his card by only 100 Euros.

Worked in a factory in his hometown of Hartlepool after struggling to make ends meet having earned his first card at Qualifying School and bounced between the Challenge Tour and the European Tour before his maiden win on the top tier.

Won a BMW i8 for a hole-in-one during the 2014 Omega European Masters.

Won the 1999 Amateur Championship and his mother caddied for him at the 2000 Masters Tournament.
