Has twice graduated from the Challenge Tour, in 2012 and in 2007 - having claimed his only victory that year at the Challenge of Ireland.

Came close to securing his maiden European Tour title when he was edged out by Richard Sterne in a play-off at the 2008 Joburg Open.

Off the course he enjoys watching ice hockey and football.
