Celebrates 11 seasons on the Senior circuit this year and during that period he has devoted considerable time and effort to the development of the Tour through his position on the European Senior Tour Committee. One of a select band of European Senior Tour players to have made more than 100 competitive appearances, his 100th start coming in the 2003 Tobago Plantations Seniors Classic. Was prevented from playing in 2005 due to illness and recently retired as club professional at Coombe Hill, Surrey. Has twice finished runner-up at European Senior Tour events and prior to that enjoyed three runner-up finishes on The European Tour and a fourth place in The 1971 Open Championship at Muirfield. Enjoyed better fortunes in Africa where he won five times on the Safari circuit. Represented Wales in seven World Cups and later went on to play twice for Great Britain & Ireland in the PGA Cup.
