Became the first left-hander to win on the European Tour in more than 20 years at the 1997 Dubai Desert Classic. Finished a career-best 17th in the money-list in 2004 and added further wins in a highly consistent career at the 2007 BA-CA Golf Open in Austria and Portugal Masters in 2010.
