Paul Wesselingh may have his sights firmly set on sealing victory in the European Senior Tour Order of Merit at this week’s MCB Tour Championship, but the Englishman took time out of his preparations to enjoy the Mauritian lifestyle.
The 51 year old cooled off in the Indian Ocean as he took to the water for a spot of snorkelling – one of the many activities on offer at host venue Constance Belle Mare Plage.
He was joined by our underwater photographer Phil Inglis, who captured the four-time Senior Tour winner – and some fish - in action.
Wesselingh will be hoping to avoid any water hazards when the tournament begins on Friday as he tries to hold off the threat of nearest rival Steen Tinning. The Dane is no stranger to being in the water either, being a keen ironman.
Wesselingh and Tinning are pair together in the opening round and will tee off at 12.50pm on Friday.
