A sensational chip-in for an eagle three on the final hole kept Australian Peter Senior on course for his first European Senior Tour title in the Casa Serena Open in the Czech Republic.
For a man more used to ensuring other people’s games are in good shape, Peter Mitchell proved his own golf was very much up to scratch too with a superb victory in the Casa Serena Open in the Czech Republic.
Peter Senior began to make immediate amends for his Woburn heartache of a fortnight ago when a superb seven under par 64 saw him move into the lead after the first round of the Casa Serena Open on the European Senior Tour.
Bernhard Langer issued an ominous warning on the eve of this week’s Casa Serena Open on the European Senior Tour, telling the rest of the field: “It is time for me to win again.”
