The Swiss Challenge presented by ASG first featured on the Challenge Tour in 2000 and became a permanent part of the schedule in 2006, with Golf Sempachersee once again hosting in 2017 as it has done every year since 2010.
Last year saw Joel Girrbach become the first ever Swiss winner of the event, sealing a two-shot win in front of a jubilant home crowd.
