My girlfriend and I moved to London about six months ago and we love it there.

Before we stayed in quite a remote part of Denmark which meant getting from tournament to tournament was difficult for me. London is obviously so much easier for travelling but it is also a nice social scene for us where we can meet friends and eat at some nice restaurants. We have lots of friends (and other golfers) who stay in London so it’s the perfect fit for us at the moment.

We are just outside the city centre which is great because we really like to spend time together enjoying the outdoors.

We go for nice walks down by the river, which is something very important for us now because we have two French bulldogs! My girlfriend talked me into getting the dogs as it was lonely at times for her when I was away on tour but they are both a big part of our lives now and it’s tough to leave them behind when I head out for tournament weeks.

Our family is growing fast.

We’re expecting our first child in November which is very exciting for us. We always wanted to be young parents and the thought of becoming a father is really something I’m very much looking forward to.

Despite my physique - I was this big when I was 14 - I am useless at other sports.

Everyone is surprised when I say that but golf was the only sport I was good at as a kid. I think that’s the reason I’ve never been overly interested in playing or watching other sports. That said, since I’ve moved to London everyone has been saying that I need to start supporting a football team but I think I’m much more likely to get interested in rugby since I’m only five minutes from Twickenham. With an 80,000 seater stadium I’m sure it must be cool to experience a big game in front of loads of fans, so I’ll be sure to get along to a game soon.

It was great to win with a friend at GolfSixes which was such a fun event.

Thorbjørn and I have known each other for tenyears and we were happy to support the European Tour in trying something new for golf. I think it worked out pretty well for everyone involved. It was really nice to see so many kids out there supporting us and getting involved because at normal tour events the children are reframed a bit from the action and it was evident that these kids were embracing the freedom of the different format. I’m keen to see and hopefully defend out title in the next GolfSixes event…golf needs more events like this.
