The 19 year old Englishman has signed to the Wasserman Media Group after signalling his potential by finishing runner up in the English Challenge on the European Challenge Tour earlier this season.

He then went on to win the English Amateur Champion at Little Aston Golf Club before finishing runner up in the International European Amateur Championships in Finland.

The World Number One Scratch Amateur and Number Three in the World Amateur Rankings was part of the Great Britain and Ireland Team in the 2009 Walker Cup, where he played alongside Hutsby and Whitnell who have both made promising starts to their European Tour careers.

Brendan Taylor, Wasserman’s Vice President & Head of Golf, said “We are absolutely thrilled to have signed Tommy, who is one of the best young prospects in golf. He illustrated his immense talent in winning the recent English Amateur Championship and his performance in finishing second against a professional field at the English Challenge Tour event proved he is ready to make the transition into the professional game.”

Fleetwood plays his first round as a professional at Prosper Golf Resort alongside compatriot Simon Lilly and South African Keith Horne.
