Spain’s Jordi Garcia Pinto claimed his maiden European Challenge Tour title after an intensely dramatic finale at the Barclays Kenya Open, finishing one shot clear of Tim Sluiter.
The ninth hole provided some real drama for the final group at the Barclays Kenya Open as Jordi Garcia Pinto edged into the lead on 11 under par, one shot clear of his playing partner Tim Sluiter.
Jordi Garcia Pinto described the third round as the most enjoyable round of his life and the Spaniard and his co-leader Tim Sluiter heaped praise on the fans in attendance at the Barclays Kenya Open.
