Everything you need to know from last week's tournament at The Celtic Manor Resort.
Romain Langasque won his first European Tour title on a dramatic final day of the 2020 ISPS HANDA Wales Open.
Here, we take a look at the highlights from the latest leg of the UK Swing at The Celtic Manor Resort.
Langasque ends wait for win
The 2015 Amateur Championship winner produced a putting and short game masterclass to earn his first win on the European Tour. He produced six birdies to surge through a congested leaderboard and finish at eight under, two shots clear of Finn Sami Välimäki. Langasque won the Hopps Open de Provence in 2018 on the European Challenge Tour, the same season he regained his card at the Qualifying School, and had a second and two thirds to finish 24th on the 2019 Race to Dubai. He now enters the winner's circle in his 78th event and moves into the top 100 on the Official World Golf Ranking for the second time in his career. “Everything in golf can go so quick," he said. "I’m really happy, this is where we all want to be. Now I’ll have some good opportunities. I need to focus again, but it’s where I’m looking forward to go."

Victory for Langasque hands him a place at next month's U.S. Open Championship via the top ten of the UK Swing Order of Merit. Välimäki, Connor Syme and Justin Harding also secured their places at Winged Foot Golf Club, alongside Sam Horsfield, Thomas Detry, Andy Sullivan, Rasmus Højgaard, Renato Paratore and Adrian Otaegui. Langasque said: "Playing my first U.S. Open this year, the good thing is with no public there’s less pressure on it being my first one. I’m really proud of myself." Välimäki added: “It is a big bonus for sure to make it into the U.S. Open. It’s awesome, I’ve been waiting such a long time to get into Majors and now is the time. I’m going to go there and try win the tournament, like I do at every tournament.”

England's David Dixon, who was the last man in the field by virtue of finishing 48th at last season's Q School, booked his place at The Belfry next week after an impressive performance. A final day 68 earned him a tie for third, with a dropped shot at the 16th - his first bogey of the day - denying the 2008 Saint-Omer Open winner a top two finish.
Syme contends again
Syme led after four of the eight rounds played at the Celtic Manor Resort over the last two weeks. The Scot was pipped to victory by Horsfield at the Celtic Classic but was immediately back in contention this week. He went into Sunday in a tie for the lead with Sebastian Soderberg but finished in a tie for eighth after a four over par final round.
Rocky road for Robert
Does luck even itself out over the course of a round? It seemed to for Robert Rock on Saturday.
First this happened on the fifth...
But then on the 15th he got a remarkable break from, well, a rock.
Stone risks wrath of wife
Brandon Stone had his dogs' names on his clubs, but despite knowing how his wife would react, he replaced them with a gaming reference. Good luck when you get home, Brandon.

Who knows? Maybe the dogs' names would have helped this ball travel another couple of inches...
Inches from a hole-in-one 😑@BrandonMStone's reaction says it all.#ISPSHANDAWalesOpen #GolfForGood pic.twitter.com/hFVOM9VT5D
