Spectator Information

We look forward to welcoming you to Abu Dhabi Golf Resort for the Team Cup 2025. Please see the information below which will help you get the most out of your day.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Date: 10 – 12th January 2025
Field: 10 players from each of Great Britain and Ireland and Continental Europe (including Playing Captain)
Format: 3 day match-play tournament with Friday Fourballs, Saturday Foresomes and Sunday Singles.

Gate Opening Timings*:
Friday 9am – 7pm
Saturday 7am – 7pm
Sunday 8am – 7pm
*Timings are subject to change
Prize Presentation: The Prize Presentation will be held on the 9th green upon the conclusion of play (approximately 16.00) on Sunday.

TRAVEL & PARKING
Abu Dhabi Golf Resort is accessible by car or taxi. Parking will be clearly signposted and are allocated by ticket type.
General admission ticket holders should park in Public Car Parking and follow the main walking route towards the Welcome Entrance.
Premium experience ticket holders should park in the designed car park near the Main Clubhouse.
Designated Taxi / Uber-drop offs will be available and clearly signposted within Car Park 3.

DISABLED CUSTOMERS
Dedicated spaces are available onsite for those who require assistance. Contact Ticketing@europeantourgroup.com in advance to gain admission to site.

VIEWING PLATFORM / ADDITIONAL SEATING
Take in the on-course action from our elevated viewing deck overlooking the opening tee shots on 1st tee.
Additional seating areas located across the Championship Village and on course hubs at 13th Green & 15th Green.

LEADERBOARDS
Live leaderboards are located across holes 3, 6, 11, 13, 15 and 18 to keep you up to date with the action.
Big Screens also located at 9th Green and within the Championship Village.

TOILETS / FIRST AID
Public toilet facilities are available in the following areas:

  • Championship Village
  • 9th Tee / 14th Tee
  • 7th Tee / 15th Green
  • *Baby changing facilities are located within all accessibility toilets

ON COURSE SPECTATOR EQUITTETE
Spectators can move freely around the golf course but please stay outside the ropes. Controlled crossing points, which are clearly marked by signposts and manned by course Marshals, should be used when crossing fairways. Always remember to:

  • Remain still for each shot and do not move until all the Players in the group have played or holed out.
  • Kneel or sit down if you are in the front row.
  • Do not speak to the players while they are on the course.
  • Please keep behind the ropes and barriers on the course and use the official crossing points.
  • Walk, don’t run, and obey the course marshals – they are trying to make your day more enjoyable.
  • There is no dress code in public areas.
  • Dress accordingly for the weather conditions. Sensible shoes should be worn. No metal spikes allowed.
  • Spectators are prohibited from asking for player autographs.
  • Please listen to any public address announcements and follow instructions from officials and volunteers should they be necessary.

EVACUATION PROCEDURE
If it is necessary to evacuate the site, please follow the instructions of the course marshals, volunteers and event officials in an orderly fashion.

WATER STATIONS
We encourage you to bring your own reusable bottles as there will be a water station within the Championship Village and at various locations on the course.

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is NOT permitted in any structure, including outdoor balconies & viewing platforms.
