Ryan Fox is hopeful he can carry his sparkling form from last season into 2023 as he prepares to get the new year up and running at this week's Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.
Fox claimed two DP World Tour titles in 2022, winning the Ras al Khaimah Classic in February before seeing off a stellar field to secure the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship crown in October.
Those victories and four runners-up finishes put the New Zealander firmly in the Harry Vardon Trophy hunt and he went into the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in second place behind Rankings leader Rory McIlroy.
And although he was unable to overtake the World Number One in the season-long standings at the Dubai finale, Fox was thrilled with his efforts - having achieved all of his goals for the year - and is aiming for more success in 2023.
Speaking ahead of the opening Rolex Series event of the campaign, the 35-year-old said: "I looked at my goals list for last year to sort of redo it for this year and I don't think I've ever had this before - I literally ticked everything off last year, which is pretty cool.
"I couldn't have dreamed of a year like that. I've obviously got a few benefits of that this year with the Masters invite and a few other things.
"It'll probably take a little while to still kind of realise what happened last year but it was pretty cool to be a part of and hopefully it can continue this year.
"Obviously it's sometimes hard to follow up a year like that but I've certainly got some good goals for this year and lots to play for.
"Probably some new stuff coming as well. I get to play a little bit on two tours this year, get a few PGA TOUR starts, which will be completely new for me.
"And I get to play The Masters and a few other events I haven't played before so it'll be hard to have the same expectations, I guess, as last year.
"New stuff can always be a little tricky and it'll be feeling like playing a Major almost every week to an extent. So the experience will be great and hopefully I can still have a great year and post some good results as well."
Fox believes momentum will be key as he looks to replicate last year's form.
He added: "I felt like I kind of had (momentum) all year last year. Even if I missed a cut, a week or two later I felt like I was almost back in contention again.
"Hopefully it's more of the same this year, to not let the bad ones affect me as much as I used to in the past and take advantage of those good weeks.
"And I was lucky last year - I seemed to have a lot of good weeks on a lot of varying golf courses as well.
"If I can ride that momentum, hopefully I can turn it into another good year."
