Francesco Molinari

Francesco Molinari will tee it up in the company of two fellow Open Champions when he gets his defence under way at the BMW PGA Championship.

The Italian held off the challenge of four time Major Championship winner Rory McIlroy at Wentworth Golf Club last season as he claimed his first Rolex Series victory and the duo will tee off together alongside reigning Champion Golfer of the Year Shane Lowry.

The Irishman won his maiden Major at Royal Portrush Golf Club in July and will go off at 8.55am alongside the 2014 and 2018 Claret Jug winners.

The highest ranked Englishman in the field is Justin Rose and he tees off alongside Jon Rahm - chasing a record extending fourth Rolex Series victory - and Patrick Reed at 12.45pm.

Open Champion Shane Lowry

Ryder Cup captain Padraig Harrington tees off alongside rising Norwegian star Viktor Hovland and Frenchman Mike Lorenzo-Vera at 8.35am, with Spaniard Rafa Cabrera Bello, Swede Henrik Stenson and Austrian Bernd Wiesberger teeing off ten minutes later.
