On the Tee: Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship

Tommy Fleetwoodwill begin the defence of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship presented by EGA in the company of World Number Two Brooks Koepkaand three-time European Tour winner Tyrrell Hatton.

Fleetwood could make it three Abu Dhabi titles in a row with victory in the first Rolex Series event of the year, but will face stiff competition from three-time Major winner Koepka, who is making his second appearance at Abu Dhabi GC.

Hatton completes the threeball, which tees off at 07:40, and will hope to carry on his impressive form at this event, which includes two top tens in five appearances.

Henrik Stensonwill maintain his record of having appeared at every edition of this tournament when he tees it up with World Number ThreeDustin Johnsonand 2010 Open Championship winner Louis Oosthuizen.

All three men have finished runner-up in Abu Dhabi and will hope to go one better when they tee off at 07:30.

2018 Ryder Cup team-matesThorbjørn Olesen andIan Poulter will play alongside two-time tour winnerEddie Pepperellat 11:55.

While Olesen won his first Rolex Series event at last season's Italian Open, both Poulter and Pepperell will be going for their first when they tee it up in the Middle East.

Lee Westwoodwill be going for his second Rolex Series title in the space of two months and will start withRafa Cabrera BelloandKiradech Aphibarnrat at 12:05.

Westwood's win at the Nedbank Golf Challenge hosted by Gary Player was his 24th on tour. Cabrera Bello also won a Rolex Series tournament at the 2017 Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open, however Aphibarnrat will be looking for his first and his maiden victory in the Middle East.
